Project Statement
Acting both as a cradle of knowledge and a facilitator within the community, the Athenaeum will be a vital link to the cultural loop of Philadelphia.
It will provide all aspects of information to the visitor and member, presenting them in a way tailored towards each individual through a series of technology walls.
The circulation acts as a continuous link through the building, engaging the visitor and member.
Architecture will come to life as people interact with the building.
