Project Statement
The shape of the building emphasizes the West-East-direction which also the main direction of movement of visitors, the crossing contact to neighbor buildings is supplied in the hall, too.
The pervious structure of the matrix-block and the transparent roof topping the hall framed by the stairways and the bridges provide daylight throughout the building.
Biodegradable polymers are used for the facade consisting of two shells with vacuum-insulation.
A combination of natural materials for furniture and the big variety of combinations of the shelves consisting of just 6 different elements supports conservation of resources, easy manufacturing-processes and a new term of usage in the future.
