Description

A "Patton's Sun-Proof Paint" in-store display sign (an example of which appears elsewhere in this exhibition) is visible near the center of this 1923 illustration. The Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company completed its acquisition of the Patton Paint Company three years earlier, in 1920.
